About The Recipe
Thai Fried Bananas (Kluay Kaek) are a common dessert in Thailand. They can be found at street vendors all throughout the country. The coconut batter, when fried, adds a crispy fragrant crust around the sweetness of the banana. Normally served out of a paper bag and eaten with a bamboo skewer, a great way to serve them at home is with ice cream. The blend of cold and hot is delicious!

for three years. Have not been back for over
12 years.
It was a big mess and everything fell off the bananas as soon as they hit the hot oil.
A better recipe is to wrap the bananas in frozen wrappers. I'm still wondering how the authors got the batter to stay on the bananas???
If the DVD recipes are anything like this (a flop) I don't think many will be buying it esp. if you can get better recipes FREE on the web!
